Oil Spill Response Exercise Notification – Exercise Jamieson
Please be advised that a live oil spill response exercise (Exercise Jamieson) will be taking place in Port of Aberdeen’s North Harbour on Tuesday 26 November.
Date: Tuesday 26 November 2024.
Time: The exercise will run for approximately two to three hours, commencing at 9.00am.
Location: Jamiesons Quay and Blaikie's Quay, North Harbour, Port of Aberdeen.
There will be an increased presence of vehicles, oil spill recovery equipment in use, and simulated scenarios. These activities are part of the exercise and do not indicate a real emergency.
Please do not contact the port or emergency services if you see this activity in or near the port.
