Port of Aberdeen staff and board members, past and present, wish to express our deep sadness following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The Queen was our steady ship in unchartered waters and her death marks the end of one of the longest and greatest reigns of any monarch in history.
We will fondly remember her many visits to the Port on the Royal Yacht Britannia following the Royal Family's annual cruise around the North coast of Scotland every August.
Our thoughts and condolences are with the Royal Family and everyone in the United Kingdom and Commonwealth nations mourning the loss of a truly inspirational monarch, leader and global icon.
