Doors Open Days 2024
Port of Aberdeen will be taking part in Doors Open Days on 7 - 8 September.
This is your unique opportunity to explore a designated area of South Harbour's Balmoral Quay and get an insider’s view of our ongoing operations.
Explore our visitor center and stroll through the designated safe area on Balmoral Quay, take photographs, and meet our team, who will be available to answer all your questions.
We are also thrilled to welcome representatives from the Energy Transition Zone, VisitAberdeenshire, and Tall Ships Aberdeen. They’ll be on-site throughout the 2 days to provide updates on their exciting projects and engage with you directly.
Important Information:
- Public parking is not available at South Harbour
- Space is limited, with only a small designated area accessible to the public (refer to the map below)
- No dogs are permitted on the quayside

- Arriving by bus: The nearest bus stops are on Pentland Road (no. 12) and Balnagask Avenue (no. 15)
- Arriving by taxi: Taxi to drop off guests in the South Harbour turning circle
